Yesterday, during dinner, Auntie calls Manang.
Auntie: Manang, yung alaga mo nadagdagan na.
Manang: Oo nga po eh.
Me: (butting in) Hala, dalawa na po yung daga natin dito?
Eldest Cousin: Pusa! Ang dami na nating pusa!
Moral -- Cats are very reproductive animals. Oh, and silence can be rewarding sometimes.
What the Hell Moment No. 1
This morning, I called Bank X to inquire about my credit card. I happened to know the name of the person I was supposed to call.
Me: Hello, may I speak to Miss Joy O*****?
Operator: One moment please.
Male Voice: (after a few moments) Bank X, how may I help you?
Me: Hello Sir, may I speak to Miss Joy O*****?
Male Voice: Yes, ano yun?
Me: Ay Sir! Wait, Sir po ba or Ma'am?
Mr. Joy: What can I help for you?
Me: *facepalm moment* **then I said my inquiry**

I visited my former place at Xavierville II earlier. My former neighbor did not recognize me, so I re-introduced myself. When she finally remembered me, the first thing she remarked was, “Woah, di kita nakilala kasi tumaba ka na sobra! Ano nangyari!” Krooo. (Pero ate, di lang ikaw nagsabi n’yan sa akin. T_T)

This Tenth of May I Will Vote
There was once this commercial ad on Studio 23 which really caught my attention (well, when I was 12 years old). What I have here is not really in verbatim, but the message at least is something which goes:
Sa pagpapaayos mo ng buhok, umaabot ka ng anim na oras.
Sa party, lumalampas ka pa sa anim na oras.
Sa pagpili mo ng mga kandidato mo, wala ka pang anim na minuto?

Two Years
Me: Well, Sir nag-aalangan po akong kumuha ng DOST scholarship kasi two years akong tali nyan sa Pilipinas if ever I take MS.
THE MENTOR: Madali lang lumipas ang two years! Tons of research and before you knew it, tapos na!

Pinoy Pride
I am not really a fan of smelling second-hand nicotine, especially in air-conditioned areas. However, save for today, I was able to endure around an hour of this pulmonary torture. This early afternoon, I was lucky enough to watch the Pacquiao-Clottey bout live from a casino in Bulacan with my Dad.
Joshua Clottey gained my respect even before the match. He said that he just wants to fight Manny...
